Laptop and Computers

As per G.O. (Ms) No.1, Special Programme Implementation Department, dated 3-6-2011, from the academic year 2011-12, Government of Tamil Nadu have implemented the scheme of Free Distribution of Laptop Computers to the Students studying in Government and Government Aided Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges to facilitate them in acquiring better computer skills. From the year 2013-14 onwards, the above scheme is applicable only for the 1st year students of Government and Government Aided Polytechnic Colleges under the control of Directorate of Technical Education.
